SPC metropolitan laid to rest in Zagreb
ZAGREB -- Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb and Ljubljana Jovan, who passed away on April 3, was buried on Saturday.
The SPC dignitary was laid to rest at the Cathedral Church of Holy Transfiguration of the Lord in Zagreb.

Bulgarian heavyweight boxer Kubrat Pulev scored a 3rd round stoppage win against Croatia's Ivitsa Perkovic at a match in Rostock, Germany.
Perkovic quit after the third round, according to reports of Darik radio.

ZAGREB - Serbian Orthodox Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb and Ljubljana Jovan Pavlovic died on April 3 and was buried on Saturday in the Cathedral Church of Holy Transfiguration of the Lord in downtown Zagreb.
MSP: Serbia does not accept UNHCR recommendation
BELGRADE - Serbia does not accept the recommendation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on the cessation of refugee status of refugees from Croatia and will continue to provide full protection and support to all refugees in its territory, Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MSP) released on Friday.

BELGRADE - The Coalition of Refugee Associations in Serbia conditionally supported the initiative by Croat MPs and the government to declare July 10 the day of Nikola Tesla and the day of science, technology and innovation in Croatia and to reinstall the damaged Tesla monument in Gospic.

Metropolitan of Zagreb and Ljubljana dies
ZAGREB - The Metropolitan of Zagreb and Ljubljana Jovan Pavlovic has died in Zagreb, Croatia, aged 77, the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) announced on its website.
A bishop of the SPC for as many as 37 years, he first served as the bishop of Lepavina, and then as the vicar bishop of Patriarch German.
