Garcia, whose family fled Cuba when he was three-years-old and never stepped foot on the island except Guantanamo, will reprise his role in the Turkish drama, âKurtlar Vadisiâ (The Valley of the Wolves), after nine years.

Serbia Ready to Plug Ambassadorial Holes
Serbia's Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, said that Serbia is about to appoint 20 new ambassadors, including to US and China, in the next four months.
The initial plan was to appoint ten new ambassadors to posts in July. However, Dacic told the daily newspaper Danas on August 8 that there had been a delay after the ministry realised the number needed to be doubled.

Russia could reopen Cuban spy base
MOSCOW -- During last week's visit of President Vladimir Putin to Cuba, a preliminarily agreement was reached to reopen a Russian "intelligence base" in that country.
The facility was operational during the Cold War as the main location for spying on the United States, writes the Moscow-based daily Kommersant.
