War crimes suspect arrested in France

SARAJEVO -- The French police have arrested Bosnian Serb Radomir Šušnjar, a former member of a paramilitary group in Bosnia, wanted for war crimes.

Former Bosnian Serb fighter Radomir Susnjar, alias ‘Lalco’, suspected of participating in burning dozens of Bosniak civilians alive in Visegrad in 1992, could soon be extradited.

Bulgarian Labor Minister Hasan Ademov has said that the relative share of the working poor in Bulgaria has amounted to 7-8% over the past few years, following EU statistics.

Ademov participated Friday in an international conference on the working poor held under the aegis of the European Works Council.

Bulgaria's Mimi Hristova won the bronze medal in the 55kg freestyle category at the European Wrestling Championships in Vantaa, Finland.

Hristova defeated France's Aurelie Basset in the small final, 6:4. This is Bulgaria's 4th bronze medal at these European Championships.

Bulgaria's mountain resort Bansko is in The Telegraph's World's top 20 places for the good life, ahead of Paris and Tuscany.

According to the newspaper, it is in the number three spot, below Andalusia in Spain and Gascony in France.

President receives UralVagonZavod delegation

BELGRADE -- President Tomislav Nikolić has met with a delegation of UralVagonZavod (UVZ) to discuss the company's interest in further business operations in Serbia.

These including the Smederevo-based steel mill Železara, it was said after the meeting in Belgrade on Wednesday.
