International conference on WWI starts Friday in Belgrade
BELGRADE - A two-day international conference on World War I, organized by the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) will start in Belgrade on Friday.
CIRSD president Vuk Jeremic told Tanjug that the participants will focus on the geopolitical situation in the world in 1914 and the events leading to the outbreak of the Great War.

Boxing: women boxers from 31 countries, expected to European Championship in Bucharest
Around 200 women boxers representing 31 countries in Europe are expected to participate in the European Women's Boxing Championship in Bucharest, from May 31 to June 7.
Greece approves Enel bid to search for oil and gas
Greece on Wednesday approved a request by Italian energy major Enel to search for oil and natural gas in three onshore areas in the west of the country.
Other oil firms will now be invited to submit rival exploration offers for the same three blocks later this year, in line with Greeces open-door hydrocarbons licensing rules.

Bulgarian Household Electricity Bills Lowest in EU
Bulgarian households had the lowest electricity bills in the European Union in the second half of 2013, Eurostat data has revealed.
A family in Bulgaria pays EUR 8.8 per kWh of energy on the average, compared to EUR 20.1 for the EU as a whole.
Romania (EUR 12.8) and Hungary (EUR 13.3) rank second and third, according to the European statistical agency.

Economic growth in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary are hampered by corruption, according to Aasim Husain, Deputy Director in the European Department of the IMF.
