Diplomats’ spouses held art exhibit in capital Ankara

An exhibit of embroidered works made by the wives of foreign diplomats serving in Turkey opened on June 10 in the capital Ankara.

The ambassadors' wives and many guests attended the exhibit's opening organized by the Embroidery Club in Atakule tower, a famed Ankara landmark offering stunning views of the city.

FETÖ threatens national security of Turkey, Kyrgyzstan: Erdoğan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on June 9 stressed the importance of the fight against the FETÖ by Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.
"Recent events have once again revealed the bloody, dark, and ugly face of FETÖ. I hope we will overcome this threat together by standing shoulder to shoulder," Erdoğan said at a joint news conference with his counterpart from Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.

Erdoğan discusses Israeli attacks with world leaders

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on May 13 spoke to his Kyrgyz and Afghan counterparts over the phone amid recent Israeli attacks in Palestine, the presidency said.

In talks with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Erdoğan "exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings and discussed bilateral relations as well as regional developments."

FM Çavuşoğlu meets officials in Tajikistan

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met government officials in Tajikistan's capital on March 29.

"Discussed w/ Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, Speaker of House of Representatives of #Tajikistan, increasing inter-parliamentary contacts after the pandemic," he wrote on Twitter. "Parliamentary diplomacy will further strengthen our brotherly relations."
