Türkiye's cultural heritage shines globally as traditional "tulum" making and performance is added to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list, thanks to a historic collaboration with North Macedonia, the Turkish culture minister has announced.

Stable weather is expected for most parts of the country today, with locally heavy showers and thunderstorms accompanied by a high frequency of lightning and localized hail.

According to the updated Emergency Weather Bulletin, bad weather will hit today:

a) In the Dodecanese islands in intervals until the afternoon.

The new wave of severe weather began with thunderstorms in Attica, bringing heavy rains and storms to much of the country over the next three days, according to meteorologists.

Rainy weather will continue in the coming days, but meteorologists do not expect it to be as intense as the Bora storm.

In a video address from Brussels, North Macedonia's Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski, reaffirmed his country's commitment to EU membership, highlighting the government's focus on implementing reforms and improving living standards for its citizens. Mickoski emphasized that the ultimate goal remains full membership in the European Union.

The rich mineral deposits in Kilkis, in central Macedonia, are back in the spotlight, as, according to previous estimates by the Hellenic Survey for Geology and Mineral Exploration (EAGME), there are metal reserves of at least 180 million tons, with an estimated extraction potential of 720,000 tons of copper and over 160 tons of gold.

During a debate in the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee in Brussels, Timco Mucunski, Foreign Minister of North Macedonia, refrained from providing a timeline for including Bulgarians as a state-forming nationality in the country's constitution. Despite repeated questions from both MEPs and Bulgarian journalists, Mucunski avoided addressing the issue directly.

The Bora storm that has been affecting the country for the past few days is gradually receding. However, the extraordinary weather warning from EMY remains in effect, as heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in some areas until the early hours of Tuesday (3/12).
