Saudi Arabia's Aramco to invest $7 bln in Malaysia oil refinery

Saudi Arabia's Aramco will invest $7 billion in a giant Malaysian oil refinery project, Prime Minister Najib Razak said Monday, as he declared ties with the kingdom were "at an all-time high."
The deal between Aramco and Malaysia's Petronas for the $27 billion project will be signed on Feb. 28, the prime minister said.     

US carrier group patrols in tense South China Sea

A United States aircraft carrier strike group has begun patrols in the South China Sea amid growing tension with China over control of the disputed waterway and concerns it could become a flashpoint under the new U.S. administration.

China's Foreign Ministry on Feb. 15 warned Washington against challenging its sovereignty in the South China Sea.

Bosnian Military Exports to Middle East Booming

According to the Bosnian Foreign Trade Chamber, the country's arms producers achieved profits in 2016 that were between 15 and 20 per cent higher than the year before.

The Chamber's data shows that the value of arms exports in 2016 amounted to 87.4 million euros, compared to 70 million euros in the previous year.

Trump Withdraws US From TPP

BELGRADE - US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that withdraws the United States from the 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal.

The move on January 23 is actually a formality since the controversial TPP agreement had not yet been approved by the Senate.
