Boris Johnson During His First Speech: Britain Will be the Greatest Place in the World After Brexit
The new British prime minister, Boris Johnson, said in his first speech in Parliament that Brexit would turn Britain into the greatest place in the world, BTA reported.
He also said that London will not nominate a candidate for EU commissioner to the new EC staff.
Premier Dancila, British Ambassador Noble, on orderly withdrawal of the UK from the EU
Prime Minister Viorica Dancila had a meeting on Thursday with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Romania, Andrew Noble, a context in which the former reiterated, from the perspective of the Presidency of the Council of the EU, the interest in an orderly withdrawal of the United Kingdom on the basis of the negotiated Agreement.
The cruellest walls
On April 18, during a riot in Derry, the second city of Northern Ireland, a 29-year-old journalist, Lyra McKee, was shot dead, probably by a paramilitary republican. Her funeral brought together politicians from both sides of the political and religious divide which has caused thousands of violent deaths since 1968. At the front of the congregation were the Irish and British prime ministers.

How Many Journalists Were Killed in 2018?
At least 95 journalists were killed last year during the course of their work, according to the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), quoted by BGNES.
The highest number of media deaths recorded was 155 in 2006.

Romania to cap prices of calls to EEA countries as from May 15
Fixed and mobile calls made from Romania to any country within the European Economic Area (the EU countries, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) will not exceed 0.19 euro (excluding VAT) per minute, or 0.06 euro for a text message starting May 15, 2019, Romania's National Communications Regulation and Administration Authority (ANCOM) reported on Monday.

Britain and the EU have Reached a Compromise on Brexit
The European Union and the British government have negotiated a deal to step out of the stalemate around Brexit, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said, quoted by Associated Press.
Juncker said the EU and the British government are behind the revisions aimed at ending the deadlock over the Brexit agreement.
