A Bulgarian businessman is facing charges in the Sofia District Court for attempted fraud involving nearly 1.92 million euros in EU funds.
Lavrov: Russia is ready
This was stated today by the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov, at a press conference after a conversation with his Belarusian counterpart, Sergey Aleynik.
He stated that the Belarusian minister reminded that there were other initiatives, such as the initiatives of the Brazilian and South African presidents, Lavrov said, reports TASS.

Up to 12 people have been found infected with Ebola in a new outbreak of the deadly disease in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday.
A week ago, authorities reported six infections in the northwestern city of Mbandaka, saying they appeared to be separate from another outbreak of the virus that has raged in the east since 2018.

Bulgaria Drops Three Spots in Fraser Institute's Economic Freedom Ranking
Bulgaria has descended three spots in Fraser Institute's annual Economic Freedom of the World report, ranking 42nd among 157 countries and territories - at par with the Czech Republic, Sweden and Jamaica.
This year's edition of the report is based on 2013 statistics, the most recent year for which data is available. In last year's issue of the report Bulgaria ranked 39th.
