Bulgaria, Takes Steps to Boost Contacts with UAE in Economy, Trade
A draft agreement with the United Arab Emirates has been approved that allow for for economic and technical cooperation as a basis for future negotiations, the Bulgarian cabinet has said.
Under the document adopted Tuesday, the countries will work to promote the role of small and medium enterprises in economic relations.

Saudi-led forces rescue passengers from vessel off Yemen
A Saudi-led force in Yemen said it rescued passengers on Oct. 1 from a vessel being used by the United Arab Emirates military that was attacked by Houthi fighters in a strategic Red Sea shipping lane.

Serbian Opposition Seeks End to UAE Agreement

Turkey to join UK-led meeting on Syria's future
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is to attend a meeting in London, in which the future of Syria will be discussed amid an ongoing operation into its southern neighbor to push jihadists off the Turkish border.
"Our minister will attend the meeting on Syria under British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson on Sept. 7," read a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Sept. 6.

Over 330,000 Greeks have fled the country to find work abroad
332,000 Greeks have emigrated abroad between 2010 and 2015 to find better work opportunities, according to official data released by the Greek Foreign Ministry services. The real numbers are believed to be higher, as Greek nationals are not obliged to register to Greek embassies and consulates abroad once they arrive.
