OBRENOVAC - The restoration and rebuilding of flood-damaged houses goes according to plan, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Tuesday in the Belgrade municipality of Obrenovac, one of the areas worst affected by the May floods.

BELGRADE - The Executive Board of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) gave the preliminary approval for the foundation of a bank from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Serbia which will operate under the name of Mirabank, Belgrade joint-stock company, the central bank released.

BELGRADE -- The Executive Board of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) gave the preliminary approval for the foundation of a bank from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

It will operate under the name of "Mirabank, joint-stock company, Belgrade," the central bank said.

A week after BIRN published the draft agreements between the Serbian government and UAE’s Etihad airway, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday made public some of the contracts at a press conference, blaming journalists for not having the right version and questioning their intentions.

PM reveals contract with Etihad

BELGRADE -- Aleksandar Vučić has presented to the public the contract by which UAE national carrier Etihad Airways took over Serbia’s national airline Jat Airways.

The carrier is now known as Air Serbia.

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic Thursday presented to the public the takeover contract by which United Arab Emirates' (UAE) national carrier UAE Etihad Airways took over Serbia’s national airline JAT Airways, now Air Serbia.

The major Eurasian startup, investment and entrepreneurship event Startup Istanbul starts on September 30, said the organisers. 

It will bring together entrepreneurs, founders, VCs, investors, top executives, decision makers and startups.
