Erdoğan, Putin meet at Central Asian summit to boost energy, tourism ties
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, as they visited Kazakhstan for a session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on July 3.
The SCO, established in 2001 by China and Russia, serves as a platform to address security concerns in central Asia and beyond.
Erdoğan receives Uzbek president in Ankara
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has received his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara for bilateral talks.
Mirziyoyev will attend the seventh meeting of the Türkiye-Uzbekistan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council on the first day of his visit.

Turkish energy company Aksa Enerji has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with the Shymkent Governorship in Kazakhstan to establish a natural gas combined cycle power plant.
The installed capacity of the gas power plant will be 500MW, Aksa said in a filing with Borsa İstanbul.

Health tourism revenues reach $2.3 billion last year
Türkiye's health tourism revenues increased from $1.9 billion in 2022 to $2.3 billion last year, the Trade Ministry has said.
Türkiye, with its internationally accepted accredited 40 health institutions, ranked seventh in global health tourism, according to the statement the ministry issued.
