Iran's New Year's Day

A suicide bomber blew himself up in front of Kabul University on March 21, killing at least eight people, officials said, as Afghans celebrate the Persian new year holiday.

US President Barack Obama told the people and leaders of Iran on March 19 that nuclear talks presented "the best opportunity in decades" for the two countries to transform long-frayed ties, but warned there was still work to do in the tortuous negotiations.
