Kasselakis to address SYRIZA congress on Thursday

The leader of Greece's leftist main opposition party will open SYRIZA's 4th congress on Thursday.

Stefanos Kasselakis will address the delegates at 7 p.m.

The congress is held at the Tae Kwon Do Stadium, and will last until February 25.

Serbia lose to Croatia in water polo world championship quarters

DOHA - The Serbia men's national water polo team lost 15-13 (4-4, 5-5, 2-1, 4-3) to Croatia at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha on Tuesday evening.

Serbia now go to the playoffs for the 5th to the 8th positions and will first face the loser of the match between Hungary and France.

Serbia to face Greece in Davis Cup World Group 1 playoffs

LONDON - Serbia were on Thursday drawn to play Greece in the tennis Davis Cup World Group 1 playoffs, the Tennis Association of Serbia announced.

The draw ceremony was held in London.

In a statement, the Association said Serbia would host the tie against Greece from September 13 through 15.

LONDON - Serbia will be seeded in the draw for the September 13-15 tennis Davis Cup World Group 1 playoffs, the International Tennis Federation announced on its website on Tuesday.

The draw ceremony is scheduled for February 8.

The other seeds are Croatia, Sweden, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Switzerland, Hungary, Portugal, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel and Colombia.
