BELGRADE - Belgrade has been proclaimed the best tourist place in South Eastern Europe (SEE) in a tourism action to pick the best in SEE tourism in 2013 carried out by Sacen International, an international center for tourism and hospitality development based in Serbia.

National Theater to perform in Turkey

BELGRADE - Belgrade's National Theater will participate in the first International Balkan Countries' Theater Festival to be held in the Turkish city of Bursa on March 8-22, with their production of William Shakespeare's Henry VI, National Theater released on Thursday.

Besides the host country, the festival will gather theaters from Croatia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece and Romania.

BELGRADE - Hamam Balkania by Vladislav Bajac translated into English by Randall Major has been published by London-based Istros Books, the Belgrade-based publishing house Arhipelag stated on Wednesday.

Istros Books is a UK publishing house dedicated to literature from south-eastern Europe.

Tabakovic: Dinar, inflation and banking system are stable

BELGRADE - The banking system in Serbia is stable and the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) will do everything to keep the dinar and inflation stable as well, NBS Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic said on Thursday.
