Djokovic beats Hijikata to advance to Brisbane second round
BRISBANE - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the second round of the men's singles event at the Brisbane ATP tournament after beating world number 73 Rinky Hijikata of Australia 6-3, 6-3 on Tuesday.
Djokovic, who ranks seventh in the ATP rankings, won after an hour and 15 minutes of play.
DJ, officers busted in drug-fueled party
A drug-fueled private party in a rented villa in Kalyvia, eastern Attica, led to the arrest on Monday morning of 10 people, including a British DJ of Azeri descent who is accused of organizing the event.
Among those detained were two individuals charged with drug trafficking, including the DJ, and three Greek police officers allegedly working as bouncers.
Dinar-to-euro exchange rate at RSD 117.0149
BELGRADE - The Serbian dinar's official median exchange rate against the euro is 117.0149 dinars for one euro on Tuesday, which is a slight change from Monday, the National Bank of Serbia said.
The dinar is steady against the euro m-o-m, up by 0.1 pct y-o-y and up by 0.1 pct relative to the beginning of the year.
