Greece sells 1.3 bln euros in 3-month T-bills

Greece sold 1.3 billion euros in three-month treasury bills on Tuesday, the country’s Public Debt Management Agency (PDMA) said.

The T-bills were priced to yield 1.80 percent, down 33 basis points from 2.13 percent in a previous sale in May.

The sale’s bid-cover ratio was 2.99.

The settlement date will be this Friday.

Car deliveries soar 42 pct in Greece

Europe’s car sales rose 4.3 percent in May as volume brands Skoda, Renault and Opel posted stronger growth than premium marques BMW and Audi, according to registrations data published on Tuesday.

The performance of the Greek residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) market was stable during the three months ended April 2014, according to the latest indices published by Moody’s Investors Service.

The 90+ day delinquencies of Greek RMBS transactions rose to 5.6 percent of the current balance in April 2014 from 4.3 percent in April 2013.

N17 convict asks to serve rest of sentence at home

Convicted November 17 terrorist Savvas Xeros was briefly transferred on Tuesday from the high-security Korydallos Prison, where he is serving five life sentences, to a Piraeus court, where he lodged an appeal to continue his punishment under house arrest due to worsening health problems.
