Energy saving projects to get incentives from Turkish government
The government is set to include energy saving investments within the scope of incentives, as it hopes to save around 15 billion lira-worth of energy per year, Energy Minister Taner Yıldız has announced.
Speaking at a meeting on the issue, Yıldız said increasing energy efficiency across the whole sector would earn the Turkish economy around 65 billion liras by 2023.
Turkish Airlines buys 15 Boeing 737 MAX airplanes
U.S. aerospace giant Boeing and Turkish Airlines on June 16 finalized an order for 15 additional 737 MAX 8s, valued at $1.6 billion at list prices, the companies said.
The deal stemmed from the Turkish flag carrier's biggest Boeing order in its history, in May 2013, for 70 single-aisle 737s, Boeing best-selling airplane.
Thomas Muller Inspires Germany to 4:0 Win over Portugal
Germany kicked off its World Cup 214 campaign in striking fashion, beating Portugal 4:0 in their Group F match in Salvador, Brazil.
Thomas Muller opened the scoring in the 12th minute, converting a penalty kick for a foul against Mario Gotze. A header by Hummels in the 32nd minute made it 2:0 for Germany.

Greeces creditors will not accept any changes to the core of the countrys streamlining program, only limited peripheral fine-tuning, as is the case during every assessment of the program, according to a top eurozone official in Brussels.
Price of monthly passes for public transport to drop 33 pct

Transport Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis announced on Monday that as of September 1 a single ticket costing 1.20 euros will be made available for all means of public transport in Athens, down from 1.40 euros for the metro and the Kifissia-Piraeus electric railway, but its duration will be for 70 minutes instead of 90 today.
Reserved traders send bourse index, turnover to lower levels
The Greek bourses benchmark index began the week with a slight drop, mostly on the back of Mondays closing auctions, with traders being particularly reserved.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index closed at 1,262.31 points declining 0.66 percent from Fridays 1,270.69 points. The blue chip FTSE/ATHEX 25 fell 0.56 percent to close at 408.43 points.
