Turkish presidential spokesman slams former US envoys' article
Turkish presidential spokesman ?brahim Kal?n slammed on March 11 a newspaper column by two former U.S. ambassadors to Turkey criticizing President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.
"Two former U.S. ambassadors, who suppose themselves to be 'colonial masters', wrote: 'Erdo?an should resign.' The days when you gave instructions to Turkey are over, gentlemen," Kal?n said on his official Twitter account following publication of the column, "Turkey's Erdogan must reform or resign," in The Washington Post.
"If Erdo?an still wants to deliver a brighter future for his country, he has to reform or resign," said former ambassadors Morton Abramowitz and Eric Edelman in the guest op-ed.
