Two children killed in explosion in Cizre

Two children were killed in an explosion in the Cizre district of the southeastern province of ??rnak on the evening of March 31. 

The children, Harun Ça?l?, 4, and Ay?enur Geçit, 6, were killed while they were playing with an object that they found in the street in the district's Cudi neighborhood, which turned out to be an explosive device, according to reports.

The severely injured children were taken to Cizre State Hospital, but Harun Ça?l? died on the way. Ay?enur Geçit succumbed to injuries at Batman State Hospital, where she was taken after Cizre State Hospital.

The bodies of the children, which are in Batman State Hospital's morgue, will be delivered to their parents after an autopsy.
