Two GD deputies to face magistrates

Two Golden Dawn deputies were on Friday scheduled to face two special magistrates leading a large-scale investigation on the activities of the ultra nationalist party. Antonis Gregos and Polyvios Zisimopoulos, both of whom face charges over participating and running a criminal organization, were set to give their depositions to Ioanna Klapa and Maria Dimitropoulou.

On Wednesday, Golden Dawn MP Eleni Zaroulia, wife of party leader Nikos Michaloliakos, was put under house arrest, following a disagreement between the two prosecutors, who proposed house arrest pending trial, and prosecutor Isidoros Dogiakos, who called for Zaroulia to be remanded in custody. A decision regarding the legal dispute was expected to be reached by the Council of Appeals Court Judges.
