Ministry expresses condolences to families of slain Israelis

BELGRADE - The Serbian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday extended the deepest condolences to the families of the slain Israeli teenagers Naftali Frenkel, Gil-ad Shaar and Eyal Yifrach.

"The citizens of Serbia share the concern and pain of the citizens of Israel in the wake of the cowardly murder of the teenagers. We hope that the perpetrators of this heinous crime will be found and brought to justice," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry also urged all actors in Israel and Palestine to invest maximum effort and exercise the necessary reservation to prevent this tragedy from destabilising the Middle East further, the statement said.

The bodies of the three Israeli teenagers, who were kidnapped in the West Bank on June 12, were found on Monday under a pile of rocks in a field near Hebron, and were buried on Tuesday.
