Liberal MEP Norica Nicolai joins ALDE group in EP

National Liberal Party (PNL) MEP Norica Nicolai has joined the ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) group of the European Parliament.

The joining took place during a meeting of the ALDE group taking place in the Brussels headquarters of the European legislature.

Nicolai had announced her intention at the PNL Congress that took place in June, mentioning that she will not resign from the National Liberal Party. "I am taking my chances regarding a possible exclusion from the party", she said later.

The PNL members of the European Parliament have recently joined the European People's Party group in the European Parliament following a decision made in this sense at the PNL Congress of June 28. AGERPRES
