Japan ready to send experts in emergency situations

BELGRADE - Japanese Senior Vice-Minister Yasutoshi Nishimura underscored in Belgrade on Wednesday, during talks with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, that Japan is ready to send its experts who would train relevant teams in Serbia in the field of emergency situations.

Nishimura, who is in charge of disaster management, also said that he expects a greater presence of Japanese investors in Serbia, the Serbian government's press office stated.

Vucic commended the policy of the Japanese government, and emphasized that, although a small country, Serbia would like to be a partner of Japan.

He backed the proposal of the Japanese delegation for contributing to youth education in Serbia in an effort to strengthen the entrerpreneurial spirit.

The officials also talked about the visit of a delegation of Japan's biggest business association, Keidanren, which is due to take place in September, the release reads.
