Obradovic: Dveri poses as alternative to Serbia being robbed

NOVI SAD - The movement Dveri wants to give power back to the people and stop tycoons and political parties from continuing to rob Serbia, leading candidate on the movement's slate for the parliamentary election Bosko Obradovic has said.

Members of the Serbian parliament do not represent the people, but political parties, which conducted the biggest robbery of Serbia over the past 24 years, he said at an election rally in Novi Sad on Tuesday.

There has been enough of stealing and humiliation for Serbia and it is time to bring back morals and honesty to politics, he noted.

"The movement Dveri poses an alternative to Serbia being robbed by political parties," he said, adding that the movement would insist on investigating the origins of all the property of Serbia's politicians and tycoons and its confiscation if there was no evidence that it had been acquired through honest work.

Dveri advocates political neutrality for Serbia, but with an alliance with Russia and a policy of "economic patriotism," he stated.

"Dveri wants Serbia's political course to be in the interest of its people, and not foreigers," Obradovic remarked.

Unlike other parties, Dveri hold their election rallies in restaurants, explaining that they are the last stronghold of democracy in Serbia.
