Bosnia: 13 arrested for war crimes against Serbs
The arrests took place in Konjic and Sarajevo, while the crimes were committed during the 1990s war in the area of Bradina, a village near the town of Konjic.
SIPA said in a statement quoted by Beta that the suspects will be turned over to the Prosecution of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
48 Serb civilians were murdered in a most brutal way in May 1992 in Bradina, while others were taken to camps or expelled.
During May 25-27 that year, members of Bosniak (Muslim) and Croat units threw 26 bodies of their victims into a pit in front of the village's Serbian Orthodox church.
22 more Serb civilians died in the camps, while five remain listed as missing.
