Kolundzija to share stage with St.George Strings in Ohrid
BELGRADE – Crowd at Macedonia’s Ohrid Summer Festival, one of the most prominent cultural events in the region, will be able to enjoy violinist Jovan Kolundzija and the St George Strings chamber orchestra, celebrated Serbian musicians, Saturday evening.
Kolundzija and the St George Strings Concerto will perform Bach's Violin Concerto in E major at the atrium of the Church of St. Sophia, built in the 11th century, Belgrade-based Art Centre Guarnerius has said in a release.
The renowned ensemble and Maestro Kolundzija have been meeting together for over two decades, ever since the St George Strings made their first steps on the concert stage.
The St. George Strings will also share the stage with famous Serbian tenor Zoran Todorovic, another musical treat for the audience of the 54the edition of the festival to enjoy on the same evening.
