Setting an example

The Greek state must root out the moral instigators and actual perpetrators of the attack on the riot police squad in Renti earlier this month that ultimately resulted in the death of one of its officers on Wednesday. 

Law enforcement and judicial authorities need to act speedily and professionally to make sure that justice is served. It is not just a question of honor; it is also about setting an example. Only by doing so can we break this vicious cycle of organized violence.
