Basescu:EU, NATO should make Ukraine available military hardware, lest army become cannon fodder

He reiterated Romania will also support tougher sanctions against Russia in the financial-banking sector, energy and technology. The Romanian leader announced the European Council will discuss two very important issues: Ukraine and the European Council leadership respectively. President Basescu will be attending the extraordinary meeting of the European Council and the EPP Summit on Saturday.
