ForMin Corlatean mentions possibility of setting up freight transport corridor from Caspian Sea to EU

Romania's Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean said on Monday at the end of an official meeting with his Azeri counterpart, Elmar Mammadyarov that he evoked the possibility of setting up a freight corridor linking the Caspian Sea region to the Black Sea and then further to the European Union market.

He said in a joint press conference with Mammadyarov that Romania and Azerbaijan are partners in developing economic projects of regional interest; he also pointed out that the energy cooperation is an essential objective under the Romanian-Azeri strategic partnership.
