FAKTOR PLUS: Support to SNS in Belgrade at 42.5%, DS 17.4%
BELGRADE - Belgrade citizens' support to Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) at this point totals 42.5 percent while the Democratic Party (DS) can count on the votes of 17.4 percent of people, shows the latest survey carried out by FAKTOR PLUS agency.
Apart from these two parties, the other parties and coalitions which will win the census in Belgrade do not enjoy a two-digit rating. The best standing is recorded with the coalition of the Socialist Part of Serbia (SPS), Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) and the United Serbia (JS) with the score at 8.9 percent and seats in the Belgrade parliament would also go to the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) with 6.8 percent of votes, Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) with 6.6 percent of votes and the New Democratic Party (NDS) headed by Boris Tadic with 5.2 percent.
The agency carried out the survey among 875 interviewees for the Belgrade-based daily Politika from February 24 to 25.
According to FACTOR PLUS data, in the parliamentary elections, SNS would win 44.6 percent of votes, SPS-PUPS-JS coalition 13 percent, DS 9.1 percent, NDS 8 percent, DSS 6.9 percent and LDP would win 5.2 percent of votes, while all other parties would not win the census.
Local and parliamentary elections in Serbia will be held in Serbia on March 16.
