Prime Minister Victor Ponta said he disagrees with the draft autonomy of the Szekely Land released by the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR), minor at rule, adding that the release of the draft was in fact an electoral moment.

'I believe the initiators know perfectly well that the Social Democratic Party (PSD), probably the same as the other political parties — I have seen the position of Mr Iohannis, who is a member of an ethnic minority, the same as the Hungarians are — will not support it. I believe its release during the electioneering campaign of UDMR's national leader Hunor Kelemen is an electoral moment,' Ponta told Adevarul live webcast.
