Serbia ease past Cameroon for third World Championship win

TRIESTE - The Serbian women's volleyball team beat Cameroon 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 26-24) in their World Championship Pool B, Round 3 match in Trieste, Italy on Thursday.

Coach Zoran Terzic's team scored their third consecutive victory after beating Turkey (3-0) and Bulgaria (3-2).

There will be no fixtures on Friday, and Serbia will next face Canada on Saturday.

Earlier on Thursday, Brazil beat Canada 3-0, with Turkey to take on Bulgaria in the last Pool B, Round 3 encounter later in the day.

Pool table standings: Brazil, Serbia (3 W 0 L), Canada (1 W 2 L), Turkey (1 W 1 L), Bulgaria (0 W 2 L), Cameroon (0 W 3 L).
