World Heritage in China exhibition opens

BELGRADE - The exhibition entitled "World Heritage in China" was opened in Kalemegdan Park on Wednesday as part of cultural cooperation between China and Serbia, it was announced by the public company "Belgrade Fortress."

The exhibition comprising 16 pedestals and a total of 48 photos showcases the beauty of China, the country with the largest number of sites that are on the UNESCO world heritage list.

Spreading over 9.6 million square meters and with a history of five thousand years, China has a total of 33 sites on the world heritage list, including 10 natural.

The exhibition is a prequel to the presentation of China at this year's Book Fair, in which it will partake as a guest of honor and present its culture under the slogan "Book deepens friendship, cooperation builds future".

The exhibition, which will last until October 31, was initiated by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the People's Republic of China, and realized by the "Belgrade Fortress" with the help of the Secretariat for Culture of the City of Belgrade and partners in China.
