Vucic congratulates Kurz on re-election as party leader

BELGRADE - Leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Aleksandar Vucic congratulated Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz on re-election as the leader of the youth branch of the Austrian People's Party, with the wish for him to continue successfully running the party.

The fact that you have won absolute trust to head the youth of the party with 100 percent of votes testifies that the future of Europe lies in the leaders like yourself, Vucic said in the letter of congratulations, noting that he finds as very close the message voiced by Kurz who said the key point lies in doing something and not only in being something. Any leader who had the honour to have people place their confidence in them and trust them to contribute to the progress of their country through their work should be guided by this message, Vucic stated in the letter.

Dear friend, I believe in your strength, your energy and knowledge, as well as your personal leadership skills, both in Austria and on the European continent, Vucic said in the note of congratulations and expressed certainty that Kurz and himself would through their joint work contribute to progress and cooperation of the two countries and the future of the region and Europe.
