VIDEO: Istanbul's shoeshine boys filmed conducting trick on tourists

Some shoeshine boys in Istanbul have been caught in camera with their classic trick on tourists.

Turkish television Show TV revealed on Jan. 27 a long-time trick by shoeshine boys around iconic Taksim Square. As part of their ?marketing tactic,? shoeshine boys deliberately let their brushes fall on the ground. 

When tourists pick up the brush to return it to the shoeshiner, the latter offers to polish his or her shoes for free as a show of gratitude. However, the trick is always concluded when the shoeshine boy demands money after the work is done.

Most tourists feel compelled to pay, rendering the cunning trick a success for the shoeshine boy.
