International Youth Music Competition from March 21 to 30

BELGRADE - Young cellists from 16 countries across the world will come together for 45th International Youth Music Competition in Belgrade from March 21 to 30, the Belgrade city assembly, which is organizing the event, stated at a press conference on Tuesday.

The world famous competition of young musicians, held in a different category every year: the violin, piano, solo voice, cello, will this year gather 20 young artists, six of them from Serbia.

The seven-strong international jury, which will this year include Swiss violinist and conductor Jan Dobrzelewsky and conductor of the Kiev Philharmonic Orchestra Philip Greenberg, will grade the young musicians.

The competition will be held at Kolarac Endowment, and the admittance is free.
