Red Star basketball team beaten by Barcelona

BELGRADE - Red Star basketball team lost the EuroLeague Top 16 11th round match to FC Barcelona in Belgrade late on Thursday, 77-73 (15-15, 22-17, 11-18, 29-23).

This is the eighth defeat for the Serbian team in Group E, and Red Star was thus ousted from further race for the quarterfinal, while the Catalonian team scored its eighth victory and strengthened their second place on the list.

In the next match, Red Star will play against Alba in Berlin on March 26, while Barcelona will continue its race for the quarterfinal in the match against Zalgiris Kaunas on March 27.
