Vucic: Serbia respects Germany and its investors
SIMANOVCI - Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Wednesday at the ceremony marking the beginning of construction of a Dr Oetker production facility in Simanovci that this is the most significant event for him today and that Serbia has great respect for Germany and its investors.
Dr Oetker is a leader in the food processing industry, based in Bielefeld, Germany, with a tradition of over 120 years.
Serbia has great respect for family companies such as Dr Oetker, for the investment worth EUR 9.5 million, and for the fact that the company chose Serbia as the place to invest in, said Vucic.
He emphasized that in view of the upcoming reforms he expects Serbia to provide even better conditions for investors, who require a better business environment.
"That is why we will adopt the labor law, as well as other laws - on bankruptcy, on privatization - over the next several months,” said Vucic, noting that this is Serbia's obligation towards future generations.
Serbia is a good place for German investments, Vucic reiterated, welcoming the German company and the Ambassador of Germany.
