Dacic: Regardless of protests, Serbia will have firm position on state affairs
BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic said on Thursday there was a synchronicity between developments on Serbia's domestic political scene and Pristina PM Albin Kurti's moves against Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
"There will definitely be attempts to cause new incidents and an escalation, and then attempts of de-escalation will follow. That way, we will be going around in circles and, all the time, they will be accusing Belgrade of obstruction. I think it should be clear to everyone that Belgrade is the party that is the constructive factor in all this," Dacic said on Prva TV.
He said Pristina's refusal to implement the Brussels Agreement, signed ten years ago, put into question the credibility of the EU as the facilitator in the dialogue.
