North Macedonia PM calls country ‘Macedonia’ in NATO summit speech
In his first official trip abroad since his election, North Macedonia Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Wednesday referred to his country as "Macedonia" and his government as "Macedonian."
"For us, as a small nation, it is important to make significant decisions that will shape the future of humanity. Macedonia as a country plans to continue promoting… peace, stability and international law. As the Macedonian government, we stand by our allies and affirm the libertarian spirit of the Macedonian people and the Macedonian citizens," Mickoski said during a NATO summit in Washington on Wednesday.
