Dacic: I do not renegade from government's policy

There are new conflicts between coalition partners in Serbian government. This time, it's between minister without portfolio Jadranka Joksimovic and Foreign minister Ivica Dacic.

The problem was Dacic's comment on president Nikolic's statement that "if Serbia recognizes Kosovo, it would become a EU member within a month".

 

Dacic said that "EU wouldn't accept Serbia's membership, and that it would even then had some new conditions".

 

Joksimovic accused Dacic for "bombastic and counter productive statements", and expressed her strong disagreement.

 

Dacic stated for "Blic" that he "didn't renegate form government's policy".

 

- I just said the facts that we are all aware of. Sometimes we should believe our own eyes. EU has standards which Serbia needs to fulfill. Our strategic goal is EU, but in our case it's not just the accomplishing of those standards what matters, but also a question of different political criteria and so called "movable goals" which are required from us - Dacic said.
