Basketball-Crvena Zvezda leaves Euroleague with victory

BELGRADE - Belgrade's Crvena Zvezda ended their participation in the 2014-15 Euroleague with a victory, defeating Panathinaikos 69-68 (16-7, 14-19, 14-19, 25-23) in the last round of the Top 16 stage in Belgrade late on Thursday.

The team coached by Dejan Radonjic finished penultimate in Group E with four wins and 10 defeats, while Panathinaikos, though defeated, advanced to the quarterfinals after Maccabi celebrated in Berlin against hosts Alba 73-64.
