Vucic receives Iranian ambassador to Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received Iranian Ambassador to Belgrade Rashid Hassan Pour Baei on Tuesday to discuss all matters of interest to Serbia-Iran relations.

"Economic relations and concrete activities in strengthening trade were among the main topics of the discussion," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.

Vucic added that they had also discussed the current geopolitical context and the two countries' place and role in international fora and that he had reiterated his gratitude for the firm and principled position of Iran's leadership regarding respect of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
