As he heads to Athens, Turkish FM speaks of ‘positive momentum’ but also ‘comprehensive solutions’
A day before he is expected in Athens for much-anticipated talks with his Greek counterpart, George Gerapetritis, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan hailed the "positive momentum" in Greek-Turkish relations, but also reiterated Ankara's push for "comprehensive solutions."
"We have managed to achieve a positive momentum in bilateral relations over the past two years thanks to the determination of our leaders," Fidan said in an interview with Greek daily Ta Nea, published on Thursday, adding "we will have greater success in bilateral relations if we start discussions with the mindset that the other side also has rights and priorities."
