Device causes minor damage at apartment building in southern Athens

An incendiary device caused a small fire outside an apartment building in southern Athens early Tuesday morning but only caused minor damage and no injuries.

The unknown perpetrators approached the entrance located on Vosporou Street, in Glyfada, and placed an improvised incendiary device, consisting of a small butane container and a plastic bottle with flammable liquid.

The explosion caused minor material damage to the entrance of the building, while the fire was extinguished before the fire brigade arrived.
