Deputy Tourism Minister outlines strategy for sustainable growth

Deputy Tourism Minister Elena Rapti explained the ministry's strategy aiming at sustainable tourism growth while addressing the 6th annual conference "Greek Tourism, a National Issue!" in Athens on Thursday.

Rapti said that "the shift to mild and sustainable forms of tourism, which allow the proper management of natural resources and the environment and highlight the special characteristics of each place, is our strategic choice; a choice proved in action with our policies and actions, always in cooperation with local government, the entities and the professionals of the local communities."
