3 policemen wounded in PKK attack in Diyarbak?r's Sur
Three policemen were wounded on Jan. 19 when outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants opened fire with sharpshooters during clashes with security forces in the Sur district of southeastern Diyarbak?r province.
Three special operation police were wounded in the clashes as the operations continued to remove barricades and cover up ditches dug by PKK militants in the district. One of the policemen was reported to be in critical condition, while the other two who were wounded were reported to be in good condition at Diyarbak?r Military Hospital.
