MP Elena Udrea said that she voted thinking that Romania needed powerful people who should represent it here and in Europe. 'I have voted thinking that Romania needed powerful people who should represent it both here and in Europe,' said Elena Udrea after casting her vote at the Mihai Eminescu National College in Bucharest.

'I have voted the most courageous list, the most powerful list, a list that makes the difference in Romanian politics. I have voted thinking of the future I have been keeping in mind for ten years since I have been in politics. And I am sure that we shall come to live as we all wish,' said Elena Udrea.

She added that her vote was cast "for energy, for youth and for people that managed to do something in life, either in politics, no matter whether they worked in politics, in sports or in business.'

'I have voted for competence and professionalism,' concluded Elena Udrea.

Elena Udrea went to the polling station together with Siegfried Muresan, a candidate of the People's Movement Party in the European election, and Ruxandra Dragomir, a candidate in the European election, but also in the by-election in college 8 for the Senate.
