Decision to transfer Sfakianakis recalled

The decision of Hellenic Police to transfer the chief of Cyber Crime Center, Manolis Sfakianakis, to another department which was announced on Wednesday, was recalled on Thursday.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Mr.Sfakianakis would be transferred to the department of human resources at Greek Police’s headquarters drawing heavy criticism from many politicians and the Greek society.

According to sources, top executives of the government were also against this decision which was finally recalled on Thursday.
